2001 Dodge Grand Caravan power window failure

My 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan passenger window does not work at all. When I use either the driver side or passenger side controls to power the window, it does nothing at all. Is there a fuse for that window that has failed? Is there a way of determining if it is the regulator before replacing it myself? Thanks

Best approach when going in after *any* problem is to check the cheap fixes first. Your fuse blocks (one under the dash & another under the hood near the battery) are easy to get into -- you can check for both what each fuse controls (but sometimes it's a bit cryptic, like "Acces") and whether any of them are dead. Next step would be the switch, although it's unlikely that both switches would go at the same time. Before you swap out the motor, check the relay (*probably* in the door near the motor). The idea is not to spend money on expensive parts only to find that a cheap one would have done the job...

Yes there is a way to check it, remove the door panel and see if there is

12volts at the power wire in both directions, you may take a small hamer and tap on the window motor while operating the switch to see if it works. if so the motor is bad, replace the regulator assembly. there is no fuse for one regulator only
