Does an L98 engine have a breather element? Where is it found?

A PCV breather? No. Fresh, filtered air is sucked from the intake side of the throttle plates, runs through a hose down the passenger side to the rear of the valve cover. From there, through the crankcase, through the PCV valve through a hose on the driver's side to the intake manifold.
