I've only had my new (used) '03 XLT Sport for 3 weeks and I'm getting worried. I'm the second owner and it only had 7k miles on it when I bought it. Tonight, I noticed that the outer edge of the driver's seat where the seams join together is starting to wear through!! I know that dragging my big butt across the edge of the seat will eventually wear down the leather, but this seems VERY early to be seeing this kind of wear. This is the grey leather seating in my XLT. Can any of you with a similarly equipped '03 take a look at their leather and see if there are any signs of wear on the raised edge of their seat.
