Where is this unit and how do I defeat it? Also called "one-touch relay" Thanks Joe

I think it's inside the door. I think in my 92 it was a black plastic module about 3x3x1 inch stuck to the inside door metal. Don't specifically know how to defeat it without making the window inoperative but first thing I would try is just unplugging it.
