Blower motor problems

I am having problems with my blower motor stopping. Sometimes it will not run at all. I have been able to get it running by jiggling the relay under the hood. The relay checks out. My other explorer has the same problem. Both or 1993 XLT's.

Thanks Dennis

Replace the relay. That fixed the problem in my '94.

It's entirely possible the brushes in the motor are worn out. Replacing the motor will cure that.

-- Elbridge Gerry, of Massachusetts:

"What, sir, is the use of militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty. . . Whenever Government means to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise a standing army upon its ruins." -- Debate, U.S. House of Representatives, August 17, 1789

Thanks to all. It was the relay after all!

On to the radius arm bushings now.
