My (new to me) 2000 XLS temperature gauge just barely comes off the peg to the "C" mark, even after several hours of driving at highway speeds. The previous owner said this was how it had always been. Additionally, the heat output seems a little low as well. Is this a cooling system or thermostat related problem, or is it truly normal?
