Engine Oil Leak?

I have a 2000 Explorer Sport with 70K on it that got a new engine put in about 15K ago. I just noticed a small drip of what appears to be engine oil leaking from just below the engine. The top of the engine is dry but just below is soaked in oil, which is strange to me cause if it is a leak, it's a small persistent leak. The oil has infested itself on the metal frame just below the engine. I noticed this when I changed the oil yesterday. My oil pressure is fine and my oil gauge says everything is OK. I am taking it to the dealer next weekend, but wanted to get some thoughts from the group before I went in. The dealer did give me an extra 40K warranty on the engine when they replaced my original one. Thanks!

The laws of gravity dictate that no matter where your oil is coming from, it will end at the bottom. And the air flow will spread it around. It could be anything. There are about 100 places in an engine from which oil can leak. So what are you asking us to do, Daniel? List all the possibilities? Come to your house and crawl under the truck to find out where it's leaking from? Make a wild guess which you will then take to the dealer? Why not just let him do the job? It's under warranty, so it won't cost you anything.
