Pull the sensors out (not too hard to get to), wipe off the metal sludge that is on them (they are magnetic) and you're good to go.

Thanks for the info. Funny thing, I got the vehicle back without changing the sensors (they're on order) and it performs flawlessly by flushing & refilling the transfer case. The TSB apparently addresses this issue. However, I was talking to the tech and told him it was working ok, and he said that because the sensors are relatively inexpensive, he'd recommend replacing them. I'm told that transfer cases have been known to drop into 4-LOW and the results are devastating. I'm going with changing them, but will certainly remember your tip and will work that into a regular maintenance op.
