Could you tell me if this firing order is the same for a 1983 Ranger,

2.3L. Also could you advise timing setting. Do you set the timing as in the past with a timing light? IF so do you rotate distributor to match the setting or is it set with a computor connector and terminal input board? Do you know a good site for tech repairs for this ford motor - repair site? Thanks rgc
