the switch is on the column on top but broke as i pushed it down to use. i need to replace it but don't know if i need special tools or even if i can do it? any one done this before? help.

all you need is a philips screwdriver, remove the plastic bit around the steering and there it is, it's part of either the indicator stalk or the lighting stalk, can't remember which. take you about 10 minutes
