Hi guys Cant find any Australian content but i'll ask the question anyway. Have 2000 ford falcon and when the engine is hot and mainly when it is under load the engine will misfire or cut out intermittently. It is worse on a hot day, but it doesnt always happen under these conditions. Have checked plugs and leads, any one point me in the right direction? Any ideas Thanks Rich Victoria Australia

Try alt.ford.falcon. Ford doesn't sell the current model Falcon to us yanks.

Although... the Falcon is still a fuel injected, gasoline fueled, internal combustion, reciprocating engine vehicle, built by Ford, isn't it?
The same advice applies here as it does to a Mustang, Aerostar, or F-150.
Check the fuel pressure on the rail. The symptoms appear to be a fuel problem - check the filter, regulator, and fuel pump.
