1992 Ford Escort hatch back 4 door AC Gas guage doesn't work and dash light is out. Are these problems easy to solve or should a pro do the job? john

depends on if you have done this sort of repairs before.. go to the main library and see if they have books on your car.
Requires a few basic hand tools and patience.
Dash light is easy, reach up behind the cluster.....suspect the SENDER before the gauge. If you need to swap out the gauge, remove the entire cluster and do that on the bench. Replace ALL the lights at that time...cheap insurance (use GOOD lamps no cheapo korean/noname lamps)
