Leaking fuel line??

Hello all,

Recently I've noticed a miss developing on my 93 Explorer XLT. First it started out as a small engine miss that didn't seem to zap the engine of torque or power. I could still drive up hill no problem with full power, albeit having to hit the accelerator a bit more to do so. Then shortly afterwards I noticed a small hint of gasoline odor around the windshield area of the vehicle. It was also about that time that I noticed my gas mileage going severely down. I can go about 1/2 a tank to every 45 miles driven.

Adding all of this up it seems like I have a leak in my fuel line somewhere on the engine. If this is the case, is it possible to fix myself? How would I trace such a problem? I realize this is a HUGE problem with one spark creating a potentially dangerous situation which is why I've currently stopped running it until it can be fixed. I'd hate to take the risk of driving it 45 miles to a dealer to get fixed, especially if it's something I could do on my own. How would I go about doing this?
