Bad/leaking injector and/or bad fuel pressure regulator. Put a gauge on the fuel rail and see what the pressure is. I think it should be about 35psi. A bad regulator might drive it to twice that.

Pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator, cycle the ignition on, is there gas leaking out?

Have you checked the pressure regulator to see if the diaphragm is perforated? As stated in the last post, just pull the vac line and cycle the fuel pump. The vac line should be DRY. If not, you need a regulator. A NOT UNCOMMON problem.

CHECK THIS FIRST before dissassembling ANYTHING.
