I am getting about 12 mpg with the 5.4l engine. Is there any way to improve the mileage? There are chips available for diesel engines. Anything for the F150?

an oil change a clean air filter and a tune up may get you up to 16 or 17 depending on your driving conditions. i have a 2001 and average 15-16..
How many miles on the vehicle? Have you every had the injectors and throttle body cleaned?
