I own a 2000 Econoline 150 with the 5.4 L engine. I was under the front end this morning, and noticed a plug just behind the front bumper on the driver's side. It's a plain 120V plug, with a dustcap on it. I'm sure it came from the factory, since it has Ford written on the cable sheath... That and the people I bought the van from were definitely not the do-it-yourself types....
So, what gives? Would a California-spec vehicle come with a block heater? If not,what is it?
