Cabin air filters - Ranger, etc.

Feb 10, 2005 1 Replies

Today in the Globe & Mail Megawheels section, they talked about all the filters which a modern vehicle has. I take care of the other 3 - air, fuel and oil...... but what is a cabin air filter?

How would I know if I had one in my 2003 Ranger 2.3L ?

It's not referenced in the owner's manual and I would not know where to look for it if there were one installed.

What is the service schedule on this?

Don't know about the Rangers but it was a Ford aftermarket dealer kit I installed in my F150. The same kit was also for the expedition models of the same yrs. If its the same for the Ranger it may not have been installed at the factory.
