Did I let it go for too low?

I just sold my '97 Ford Ranger, 3.0L V6, XLT, Extended Cab with Flare Side with 80k mi for $6000. I basically looked at what else was being sold in the Classifieds and also looked at the blue book. But, I guess you don't miss something until its gone. It was in absolute great running shape and has no issues. So my question is... did I let it go for too little?

just curious

Yup. Those are in big demand. You could have traded even at the dealer for Hummer.

You are going to make yourself nuts thinking about it. You did fine, get on with your life.

Does it even matter? It's a done deal... Fo-ged-abo-dit

Sounds like a fair price to me. Turn the question around the other way - now that you've done your research, would pay that much for it, or did you find a few deals that looked better?

JD, That price sounds bit low but YOU did the research on the value of it, evaluated what the market was in your area was and bottom line, you SOLD it. I'd say you did a good job, if your objective was to sell your truck. OTOH, you could've asked a higher price and had it for HOW LONG before you'd have found a buyer and maybe had to drop the price to actually move it?

Sounds to me like you miss your truck and are experiencing "seller's remorse". In some way or another, I'd venture to say that everyone here has experienced the same thing. Hindsight's always 20/20...
