i need to replace my balancer. however when i looked on ebay i noticed that there were 2 different weights available. how do i know which weight is the one i need? i have a 90 f150 with the efi 302. thanks to all
If you have an original engine or oem replacement in your
1990 truck, you will need the 50 oz damper for a 5.0L engine- not a 302. The 28 oz was used on the 302 engine before about 1980 when it was still designated the 302. When they changed the designation to 5.0L in the late 70's, they also made other design changes including the balance system.
