idiot light

92' Ranger, 3.0 liter, 5-speed, 180,000 miles

Why does my "antilock brake" light stay on all the time? The brakes work fine.

TIA

You most likely, only think they work fine.

First check the fluid, it doesn't have to be very low to make the light come on.

My son had that problem with his Toyotee. I told him to get on the toyotee newsgroup and ask ...turns out if you don't have the brake fluid a little higher than the max-line you get a warning light.

No sweat. It fixed cheap. ;)

So Cheryl, did it feel good? $750.00? Apparently *Rape* is legal in the state where you live.
