Where is the idle speed sensor located on a 1998 ford F150 4.6 ?

There is no such sensor. There is a crankshaft position sensor, and a camshaft position sensor, which the computer uses to determine engine RPM, among other things. Perhaps if you described the problem you're having, someone here may be able to help you.

I think you unintentionally made a mistake in your wording. This is probably what you want to say:
