I have a 2003 F250 4X4 and like the truck pretty much except for a couple of things. One of them is the poor windshield defrosting capability. In the winter time if it's snowing or sleeting, the wiper blades ice up, ice collects at the bottom of the windshield, and visibility is bad or worse. Running the defrosters full blast will not keep the ice from building up at the bottom of the windshield or on the wiper blades.
A few years ago I had Chrysler T&C which had a defrosting system with heating wires along the bottom of the windshield inside the glass as is commonly done with the rear window. I am wondering if there is an after market product that can be attacked to the inside of my truck windshield to perform that same function. I'm looking for a way to improve the problem before winter arrives. Does anyone else have this problem and are there any solutions? Thanks...
