Looking for a new truck

I'm cross-posting here to try to solicit your opinion's on the type oftrucks you drive. I'm in the market to buy a new truck and am just nowstarting to compare my choices for the pro's and con's. I'm considering theDodge Ram 2500, Ford F-250, and the Silverado 2500 (all 4 doors).I would like to hear from those that already own these models as to yourlikes and dislikes and also what you wish it had or didn't have as far asfeatures and capabilities. Also, diesel vs. gasoline.I'm hoping to make a purchase within the next 7 to 10 days.I'm currently driving a 97 Suburban and will be trading it. May alsoconsider buying a new 03 or 04 Suburban as well. Any drivers out therewilling to add your two-cents worth on this one?Thanks for your help and input.Danny

I forgot to mention that there are several documented Dodge cummins with over a million miles on them.

issue magazine had a 96 Dodge cummins with well over a millionand still going strong. The guy tows campers and such cross countryfor a living.

And chances are its with a manual trans. a million miles is truly, most impressive, but how many down-stream driveline parts after the engine have been replaced?

my guess would be pretty much everything... even big-rig major drivetrain parts only are expected to last 750k or so.
