My 87 F150 w/300 also suffers from Low Oil Pressure. :>(
Did you pull your engine out to do yours ??
What all bearings did you replace inside the engine ??

I have an 83 F150 4X4 300 six. Every time I drove it the oil pressure would drop to 0 after about 30 min. I thought I was gonna have to put a new engine in. But I got off alot cheaper. it turns out that all I had to do was drop a new crank kit in it and the problem was solved. I should be able to get another 200k miles out of this old 300-6. well I did end up also putting a new clutch in it as well as oil pump and water pump.
