I will be replacing the transmisson in my 95 f150 extended cab 2 wheel drive pick up soon. I am going ti do this my self,and was wanting to know if there is anything in particular I need to watch out for?... Mark in kansas city

Yeah! Make sure you have the correct trans. You could have one of several. None are interchangeable between models because of the electronics. Use the info from the data tag on the side of the trans for replacement. I hope you have a way to get it at least 2.5 feet off the surface, a good set of tall jack stands and a trans jack if you can't bench over
200 lbs. - closer to 300 for the E4OD. If you have not done this before and do not have the tools and handling equipment, this can be a bear of a job as well as being dangerous.Lugnut
