I have a 2006 F-250 4X4 Crew Cab Diesel. All of the air controls for heating, cooling , defrost and air conditioning work fine, except the air only flows out of the defroster vents. The circulation does not change to the floor vents for heating or the dash vents for A/C. Is there a solenoid that controls the direction of the airflow inside the dash, or is it controled by other means? In either case, where is this unit located? Thanx in advance for any help, Danny.

You have a vacuum line leaking or disconnected.
Agree with David, you have a vaccum leak. Look for thin tubing running near the firewall... Probably cracked or came unhooked...
