87 Buick lesabre 3800 V6 fuel line

I've got a nice 87 lesabre I bought with only 57k miles on it...problem is that it is leaking gas! I've tracked the leak down and its coming from the area of the fuel filter (left side of car just in front of the rear wheel). It looks like the fuel lines back there are rusted or cracked...I cannot tell exactly...but is running off a line, dripping onto the filter and then to the ground.

I need to know how or where I can go to buy the line to replace or fix. If anyone has had a similar problem or can shed any light on this subject I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Check with your local parts store. They may have a universal fuel line repair kit availalbe.

Also check to see if there is a connector above the drip. Some older models had a piece of rubber tubing that connected pieces of metal line that would crack with age and begin leaking.

Check with your local repair shops. They may fix it fairly cheap ant they have the pipe fluting tools needed. I just had the PS line replaced for $65 and I wouldn't climb under the car for that.....
