my sister-in-law has a light on the dash that says CHECK NOW. Check what? is this specific? She will be here tomorrow. any input would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Re 92 Thunderbird with mysterious lighted dashboard message saying, "Check Now":
After dark, turn the dash illumination as high as possible. Look closely next to the message for an icon or further text which is not appearing because of a burned out bulb, an open fuse, or a broken connection. Also check whether the owners manual has an illustration of the dashboard showing all icons.
