blower resistor 97 grand prix

Aug 12, 2004 3 Replies

hi,

well, i took off the blower resistor (thanks hyundaitech) and the circuit board was broken in 3 pieces...

now im gonna order a replacement part tomorrow, but, i had a lot of trouble with getting it out .. the two front screws are extremely hard to get to...so i just broke it off

does anyone have the correct procedure so i can reverse the procedure and get it in right? the procedure i have is very scampy and it says to remove the right hand insulator panel

what is that? anyone know?

thanks

right hand insulator panel = a black plastic cover.

and then when u take off the cover? do u remove the whole blower motor as an assembly and then take the resistor out??

Knowledge, patience, & ingenuity.
