There does not seem to be a model for 2006? WAs it discontinued? Is there going to be a replacment with another name?

The car was discontinued along with Buick Park Avenue, Regal & Century. Low sales was a problem for the Bonneville.

If you want something the size of a bonnieville now you have to spring for a Caddy STS

GM killed it. The closest product now I suppose would be the Buick Lucerne. You can get a Lucerne with the Northstar V-8 for the low to mid $30s ... or simply wait until the rental companies start moving them out for cheap-cheap-cheap.

GM is trying to combine their second tier brands into Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealers and is likely to continue skinnying down the offerings of each of the so called division (they have not had real division status for decades).

THe Grand Prix is the same as it was for previous years. It is not the replacement although I am sure Pontiac dealers would rather you buy one than a full size Buick, Chrysler or Ford.

Most Pontiac dealers are also Buick dealers these day, or will be soon if GM gets it's way. GM is pushing hard for combined Buick-Pontiac-GMC stores.

Seems GM should combine Saturn with Chevy or eliminate Saturn altogether. Both divisions sell the exact same products.
