dealers choice of colors ?

Question

Do dealers have a choice of colors they get from the factory or dothey have to take the colors the factory sends  them ?  For a 2006Civic EX w/ nav.

A Honda dealer orders his vehicles months in advance. He is given an allocation, a number or quantity of each model he may order and he picks the quantity given among the different colors offered. At certain times, not all colors may be available. Basically the dealer must have a crystal ball to be able to predict what will sell in the next season. But that's his job.If a dealer doesn't have the particular color in the model you want, he should accomodate the customer by searching for the exact vehicle from other dealers and then trade the other dealer for the car you want. The search is easily done on the Honda dealer network that all dealers have.If the dealer won't do this for you, find another dealer.Howard
