My check engine light came on, engine started to race eraticly to 5 K at a stop light with the clutch in. Shut off the engine re start and once agian the idle was all over the place. 32K miles on vehicle.

You're welcome. Tell us what the dealer said once he gets it.
Most likely cause would be a throttle position sensor. Take to dealer for warranty service.
