Car has 105k on it towing a campervan about 5000 km a year. Had Hyundai check gearbox oil and they reported no problems. Works perfectly but the cost of a service (oil change!) is minimal if it avoids a major repair. Anyone with some idea whether a service on auto is warranted? Hyundai recommend a change at 200k. Many thanks John

The service and part replaced would be warrented but it would not extend the warranty of the gearbox.
I found out at last service why oil changes in the automatic are not done every service. Cost $681 Aust. No, I havnt misplaced the decimal point, $681. Must run on gold. Jhn
