1988 Trooper II starter motor - is it difficult for a do it yourselfer to replace?? Thanks!!
Forgot to mention - I have the 4 cylinder engine.
If it is the petrol engine it is quite easy. You can reach it from above or underneath. Just detach the cables and bolt it out. If it is a diesel engine you might have to remove the turbo. Remove the intake manifold with the turbo as one piece. Try to leave the turbo attached to the manifold. Kind regards and an happy new year, Erik-Jan.
