im looking at a 2002 trooper with 90k miles on it for $11,000. is that a good deal and is the mileage too high; will it need major repairs soon? im also trying to sell my 2001 honda civic with 50000 miles on it for $12000. is that too high an asking price?

- get a list of all service done last 4 years
- any parts replaced last 4 years - if yes, which parts? receipts?
- tire warranty? tires replaced?
- battery warranty? battery replaced?
- do a VIN number based search (cost -25) which reports everything known about this car
- original owner? original papers, sales contract, title (no liens?)
You're going to give up good gas mileage for bad as well. Check out Kelley Blue Book
