Read between the lines and we discover this thing breaks no new ground: It gets the aging Ford suspension from the S-Type and the existing XJ/XK powertrain. Thus, other than being a styling exercise for Callum, its primary use will be as a resting place for recycled beer cans. This could be the last gasp for Jaguar.
Until Ford wakes up and invests in some ground breaking technology for Jaguar, ceases this damn platform sharing, parts-bin engineering nonsense, this brand is DEAD. What a shame.
Actually the new Jag ALC sports coupe is on Ford's web site already. Follow the links to the "Auto Show" info then look through the Detroit show, or the Jaguar link to see pictures of the Jag ALC prototype.
