oil leak from dizzy

i have a oil leak that appers to come from where the distributor goes into the block, is it a big job to replace tthe seal

Dear Future Solution,

Mark the distributor to block so you can line things right back up. The distributor uses a common o-ring, and the entire job could take five minutes to complete if you are comfortable with mechanics.

If you follow this advice then take care to make sure that the rotor is in the same alignment as it was when you withdrew the distributor. Also do not turn the motor over with the starter while the distributor is out. The whole job is relatively simple if a little care is taken.
