Tray Tables

Just got an 88 Vanden Plas, no manual, trying to figure out how to operate the tray tables on the back of the front seats. I find no switch or other control. Also, whats the little slide switch between the power window switches on the driver door for? It does not seem to do anything. I do plan to get a manual off ebay soon, but advance help on this appreciated. Thanks, Nathan

Dunno about the tray tables but the little switch between the power window switches is a cut off switch to all the other window switches i.e. it stops the other door switches from working to stop brats, sorry children, from operating the windows. It only allows the driver to operate them. That's probbly why you couldn't see what it does.

:o)

Hello Nathan,

The tables are operated by lifting the lower edge of the table. When sitting on back seat put your hand underneath the table and carefully pull the the table towards you. There is no lock or switch.

The little switch on drivers door limits the operating of the back windows so that the window opens only half way down - i suppose it is for childrens protection. You'll find a similar switch next to sun roof switch.

Thanks so much for the info! Best Regards, Nathan
