I am thinking of buying an X type but i hear that they are going to stop production in early 05, any one know anything? Guy.

Production of X-Type will not stop in '05, however they may signifcantly reduce production volume due to weak sales.
Fine car - I've just swapped mine for a new one after 3 trouble-free years. Strong UK currency has made sales in USA less profitable, so production is being reduced slightly, although can easily be increased if necessary.
