2000 cherokee good or not?

It's amazing when someone writes a glowing review, no one responds, but if someone writes an awful one, the floodgates are opened. Test drive the one you are looking at. If it doesn;t have the problems that people have complained about, buy it. Every vehicle has its share of lemons. Don't even get me started with Honda.

My 1996 Cherokee Sport has 140,000 miles and counting. Runs as good as the day I drove it off the lot & gets the same gas mileage to boot. No major problems. Just changed the oil every 3000 miles. Its solid.

I have a 2000 cherokee. Its runs fine. My only concern is the power windows and the transmission; my drivers window broke because a piece of plastic inside broke in half. My transmission has been fine, 39000 miles, but I read articals about them breaking. All of that aside I like it and drive it everyday.

I have a 2000 Sport with 60,000 miles. The transfer case rear output seal leaked at 8,000 miles and the drivers power window went at 14,000.Both repaired under warranty. No further problems.

I have a 2000 with 67,000 miles. Only thing I've done is change the fluids, and tires. Runs like a champ. I did have the hood Cherokee badge delaminate, but it is under a bug deflector anyway.

I've got a 2000 Sport with 102000km and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
