I have a 76cj5 with the 6bolt locking hubs made by Warn. I am looking to replace only one spring inside it if i can find it. The spring is sort of like a circular acordian spring, at least thats my best description. I checked Advance Auto Parts and i think they just didnt know what i needed.
Any body know a good place to replace these springs?

Hey, got a call to the 4x4 shop, and they said theyd swap out the hubs since they were Warn's anyway.
premium hubs=lifetime waranty.

I have the SuperWinch hubs in the 6-bolt pattern, they lock and unlock in
1/4 turn, instead of 3/4. If you end up having to get new hubs, maybe a switch to the SuperWinch style would be in order ...Have something to add? Share your thoughts — no account required.
