91 YJ servise light

I am talking about the maintence required light. Is there any other way to reset it short of a scan tool which I do not have?

The box is up on the right side of the steering column under the dash and under the cruise control module if you have such.

It can just be unplugged and the light will go out.

On a 91, the module needs to be either unplugged or replaced, it will not reset.

Though some enterprising soul figured a way to reset the sucker with a needle and it has been posted here in the past.

I wouldn't bother, who needs a light telling them they must go spend money to turn the sucker off whether the O2 is still good or not?

My book says the 91 still has the timer, but then the Haynes manual has been known to be off before.

Easy to find out, just look at the side of the steering column, if there is a little box there, unplug it.
