ok i have recently got a 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo it has keyless entry but no key fobs, i can buy them on ebay but i do not know how to program them? can any one give me any advice?

For the cost and bother (and limited range) you might want to look at an aftermarket that has longer range and even remote start.
Clifford makes a nice unit starting at a base of around $500. The remote is two-way and has a range of nearly 1500ft.
The fobs are generally available on eBay for around $10 each. Each vehicle came with two (black and gray) that each interfaced with the personalized settings if you had memory seats.
The programming must be done at the dealership.
