Since you asked, if it made any difference, the manufacturer, who spends millions on design, would have fitted it as standard as a cheap and easy win. Similarly, If they thought you would have benefitted from having an air filter that allows more abrasive dirt into your engine, they would have fitted that too. I suggest you resell them both to a ricer.

That is rude iselljeeps!...as right as you maybe. To the OP, it would take years (read: decades...) to recoup all that money in the gas you saved, and that is if you drive with a feather weight foot....
