Barrie, Ontario Outdoor car show

Well, this past weekend was the local car show. It's toted as the biggest outdoor car show in North America. Uhm....ok sure...it wasn't all that big, which tells me most car shows are indoors! haha

Anyhow, lots of cool new cars there. Mazda RX8....nice lines....cool interior. I'm not a Mazda guy. Ford had their pre-production 2005/06 Mustang. WOW!!! Farkin amazin!! They've got a sleek BMW kind of line but with retro front and rear. The guy wouldn't open the hood or the door to get good shots of either....but nice!! Very nice!!

Anyhow, I made it over to the Chrysler tent (though my head was more than burned by that point).... I wanted to check out the Unlimited. (Hadn't bothered going to the dealers to check one out). I gotta say....I wish they'd try to do something other than just stretching her out. I mean, crap, all that cargo room appeared out of nowhere....no doubt I can get my cooler in there ;) But the space from the rear flares to the doors and the other way to the fenders, is just too open. Don't like it flat like that! I honestly don't know what to do....insteps would look kinda stupid without doing an entire body refit....but the flat is kinda weird lookin. I do like it though, after getting used to it!

Anyhow, looked at the '05 Rubi too and although there's nothing much different than the '04/'03 it still looks good. BUT, I didn't realize it had front and rear lockers (or maybe this one did). I had thought they only had rear lockers.

Ah well, looks cool anyhow.....

Thanks for the report. The Rubicons have had lockers front and rear from day one. Did you know that they have a 4:1 transfer case also, and rear disk brakes, and Dana 44 front axle, and....?

Haha...ya, knew that stuff. But somehow I got to thinking they only had rear lockers. Cuz i remember saying..."Rear lockers....why not front....oh well, it's something anyhow." Don't know where I saw/heard it though...but, I stand corrected!
