Block senders?

Jan 26, 2008 11 Replies

I just fired up a new 'puter with Windows Vista and have found out how much crap my killfile has been filtering. Vista doesn't have a "block sender", so do i have to create new"rules"?

It is under Message>Junk E-Mail>Add sender to blocked sender list or Add sender's domain to blocked sender list. I just got a new one too. Tomes

In Vista Windows Mail the blocked senders list is under right click on a message, Junk E-mail, Add Sender to Blocked Senders List.

On my Vista Windows Mail I do not have that option with just a right click on the message. I gotta use the Message pull-down from the top. Tomes

Hombre, I bought a Dell Inspiron 1501 from Walmart and figured out how to use it myself, just like any high school kid would have done. There are some good newsgroups on the msnews.microsoft.com servers.

I tried to install Windows Live applications and Windows Live OneCare on my Dell, and it melted down to where I had to do a factory reinstall. I'm using Windows Mail and Norton Protection Suite from now on.

Interesting. Don't have a clue why. But you found it, right?

Earle

Yep. Maybe they have different iterations of it already. Tomes

i figured it out, then i was able to see your posts. Before, all I could see was the cretins. Weird Thanks.

I'll keep that in mind, this is a dell Vostro 400. Setup and transfer was suprisingly easy, there must be a catch!
