CJ5 stalling problem

I have a 1983 CJ5, 258, about 120k miles, and weber 38cfm carb.Nearly every day, the jeep stalls while driving. No sputtering, justinstant stall. Sometimes while driving, sometimes while idling.Doesn't mater if the engine is warm or cold (I live in Arizona, soit's never really cold), it can happen if I drive to the store andcome out 10 minutes later. But it always happens within the first 5minutes of driving, and often multiple times. I rarely am able toclutch-start it if I'm still moving. Key start is about 50/50 chanceto work on the first try, but always starts within 30 seconds.In the past year I have replaced:starter (old one seized)coilcap/rotor/plugs/wiresbatterystarter relayAnd the issue has been getting slowly worse over the last few months.It used to only stall now and again, and only once. Now it's happeningalmost every time, and several times in a row when it does.

You were lucky that your situation turned out so well. My CJ's module did that just once, but then started back up and allowed me to drive it for another month before it just quit cold, requiring a tow home.
