Code 11 - No Fire Problem

Hope someone can help here :(

95 Wrangler 2.5L manual quit on the trail as if I had turned the key off. No fire coming from coil to dist. Odd voltage, approx 7 volts coming into coil. Replaced crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, coil, dist cap and rotor, computer. All relays and fuses seem to be good! I am at the end of my options and hate to take it to the dealer :( Any ideas appreciated. TIA

God no, don't take it to the dealer. Surely you can find something else to throw at it. I mean, look at how much you've saved already!

I was going to ask: Are you sure the fuel pump is functioning? Any fuel coming out of the TB injector? lol

But since it sounds like an ign. problem I will ask: So your Jeep blinks DTCs at you? And is it this Trouble Code 11?

11*No Crank Reference Signal at PCM No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking

11**Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP, or Misfire Adaptive Numerator at Limit Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, or CKP sensor target windows have too much variation

Maybe the camshaft postion sensor (possibly in the distributor?) is the culprit!

Not too sure of your fuel system, but I wish you good luck! later, dave AKA vwdoc1
