maybe someone can clear this up. what is the difference in full and half doors that fit on 1987-1995 wranglers and the ones that fit on
1997-2004 model wranglers. why aren't they interchangabe? now a similar question about hardtops, will a 1997-1002 hardtop fit on a 2003 or 2004 wrangler? why won't 1987-1995 hardtops not fit on 1997-2002 or 2003-04 models? thanks, john utterbackYou are talking apples and oranges when comparing those years and two totally different Jeeps.
The YJ with the square headlights was from 87 to 95. The newly designed TJ with the round lights came after.
Other than the name Jeep and the same engine, they don't have a lot in common when it comes to sharing parts.
