I was looking at the Purolator PA44727 PureONE Air Filter for my 99 JGC. Anyone know if this filter is any good? Or is it overpriced nonsense?
Engine Air Filters

IMHO, the filter you need is what the manufacturer recommends OR it's aftermarket paper equivalent.
No "pre filters", no K$N (or others of that type), or any other "super" filter.
Why? Stock paper filter cleans about 98% of the dirt out of the air going into the engine and will flow all the air your engine can use plus a lot more even if the engine is modified.
So, with today's economy and fuel prices, buy what the factory engineers say is "good enough" and save the extra $$ for something fun.
